Vintage Persian Qashqai Kilim RunnerThe Qashqai are a nomadic tribe from the Fars Province of southwestern Iran, migrating twice a year across the Zagros Mountains between highland summer pastures and lowland winter grazing grounds. They have a saying: "Where I am is my carpet. Where my carpet and I am is my home." For a people who travelled hundreds of kilometres each year, the kilim wasn't dcor. It was home, carried on their backs between worlds. The kilim is the most nomadic of all
